-Boar / Birds / Hole Stone Closeup and in situ——Can’t get down there into the actual dig anymore, so had to rely on my photos for these closeups. I learn a lot, drawing these things.

-Bull, Fox & Crane – H Eclipse – Sheep? – The Net of Serpents – Some snakes go down – Some snakes go up – Some look like fish – #56: Cats, Cranes & Serpents——While drawing this stuff from closeup photos I’m listening to lectures on Gobeklitepe. All these creatures are power figures and relate to astronomy, mathematics, and present-day religions.

-Big 3D cat – It really is grinning——Also looks like it was carved yesterday. Gobeklitepe was deliberately buried after only 1000 years, with countless small stones you can see here.
IN THE LION CHAMBER

-12,980 years ago the comet – 11,600 years ago Gobeklitepe – Mother Goddess – Lion Chamber——We don’t know if this goddess is menstruating or giving birth, but we know she’s important, surviving almost 12,000 years scratched into a rock. I love this lion, with his snarl and his junk.

-Goddesses frolic through the millennia – Flat disk goddesses – Alabaster 9000 BCE – Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara——Absolutely spectacular museum with more love and mother goddesses that you can shake a stick at, and many have been shaken.
