BONES OF BYZANTIUM - Trici
Sphendone-Wooden House Arch. Hippodrome, Sultanahmet, Istanbul, 2007. This wooden house is not attached to its 2nd-century arch but stands in front of it. The large group of cackling scarved resident women immediately to the right would not let me draw them, but ran over frequently with tea and encouragement. The house is probably 200 years old.
